Most businesses don’t have an AI problem.
They have a workflow problem.
Sat in a phone overnight
For owner-led service businesses that run on coordination, I find where the handoffs break down and build the system that fixes it.
One job, start to finish
Office
Crew
Client
Where service businesses lose time:
the work between the tools.
A client texts a change at 7pm. It sits in your phone overnight. The crew shows up with the old plan, and the callback lands on you.
This is for owner-led operations where a dropped handoff across crews, vendors, clients, and schedules costs money, a client, or a callback that lands on you. If you run a solo shop with few moving parts, have an in-house AI or data team, or just want marketing or a website, this isn’t for you.
Crew
Materials and crew fall out of sync
A delivery slips and the crew shows up with nothing to install. You lose a paid crew-day and spend the morning filling it.
Client
Clients hear about delays late
The client finds out from the crew instead of from you. The evening goes to an apology call, and they trust the next date less.
Lead
Quotes go out slow
You are on a job site while warm leads sit in the inbox. Some go cold, and it never shows up as a loss.
One workflow
- Requests logged in one place
- Changes reach the crew the same day
- Quotes follow up on a schedule
- Invoices match the work that was done

Before founding On Point AI Consulting, I spent 10 years in cybersecurity, working at Dell SecureWorks, EY, TransAmerica, and a small financial business.
I built OVM inside On Point Amenities, the separate vending business I operate, to connect inventory, supplier data, and day-to-day operations. This is experience from my own business, not a consulting client case study.

The person you email is the person who does the work.
What OVM runs every day
On Point Amenities, a separate business
Inventory & suppliers
Every stock movement is logged, and supplier invoices are costed by supplier.
Restocks & expiration dates
A load list for each restock, and expiry dates read from a photo of the label.
Machines & locations
Stock level and next restock for every machine, refreshed each morning.
Monitoring & checks
Morning alerts for low stock and quiet suppliers, and a weekly list of what stopped selling.
Built inside a real operating business
A word from my coach
“Justin's ability to come up with a solution for literally every small business issue I've come across has been utterly impressive. He's reliable, always learning and ready to take on any challenge we bring him”
CEO, Jam AI

How the AI assessment works:
look at the work before picking a tool.
Start with the smallest step that produces a real, usable answer. Then make it part of the everyday.
Step 1
Assess
Understand the workflow, the people involved, and the cost of doing nothing.
Step 2
Prioritize
Compare a process change, an existing tool feature, and automation. Choose the smallest useful option.
Step 3
Build
Design, integrate, test, and refine a system that works in your operating environment.
Step 4
Embed
Document the process, train the team, and measure the outcome.
Need hands-on help? I build the system with your team, test it, and stay until it’s part of the daily routine.
Ready for a bigger change? I rebuild one core process from start to finish, like how a job moves from quote to invoice.
Start with your business.
Leave your details for a reply from Justin, or continue with the assistant to talk through one workflow. If it is a fit, the next step is a paid 60-minute discovery session.
Prefer email? info@opconsulting.ai. Justin replies within two business days.
AI Opportunity Snapshot:
see where AI is worth it in about eight minutes.
The AI Opportunity Snapshot scores up to three time-eating jobs on the OPAC 0-3-5 rubric and sizes them from your own numbers. Estimated, not verified, and never a quote. The full file, with the diagnosis and your top AI moves, opens on a paid call.

straight answers about AI consulting.
Six questions worth answering before the first call.
Do we need to be using AI already?
No. Most of the value in an assessment is in the data and the process, not the model. Plenty of good outcomes involve no model at all.
Do you build it, or tell us what to build?
Both. I assess the workflow and can build the agreed system with the people who use it day to day. The assessment gives you a written recommendation. Here is a sample. You can decide whether to proceed with implementation as a separate engagement. Scope, ownership, and handoff are set out in the written agreement.
What does it cost?
An assessment is fixed scope, fixed price, quoted after the first call. Hands-on help is billed at a fixed monthly rate or a value-based fee, depending on the engagement. For value-based work, we agree upfront on the expected business value, how we’ll measure it, and whether payment depends on results. A process rebuild is quoted per project, in writing, before work starts.
What happens to our data?
For client work, I explain the proposed data sharing, provider, purpose, access, and retention before you approve it. Provider settings and safety logs can limit deletion. Working-copy handling is agreed in writing. On this website, choosing the assistant sends your contact details and messages to an AI provider. Submitting an inquiry stores your contact details and brief in the contact system and sends an internal notification. Keep confidential records and credentials out. The privacy notice explains these website data flows.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. In person in the Denver metro, remote everywhere else. Most of the work is in your systems and your data.
Do you guarantee results?
No. I scope the smallest step that produces a usable answer, and I tell you when AI is the wrong tool. An assessment that says “leave this alone” is a successful assessment.
What’s slowing
your business down?
Tell me about the work, where it gets stuck, and the tools you use.
